I've decided to take the plunge and start a Volkswagen based News Blog.
Some of you may know me under my alias 'phaeton' on such sites as The Car Lounge, VWvortex, GermanCarZone, vwwatercooled.org, Volksforum International and CarSpyshots etc.
My love for the Volkswagen brand cannot be matched to anything else, I've been a fan for the brand for over 12 years.
I love all parts of Volkswagen: aircooled, watercooled, club scene, forum scene, vans, trucks and buses and even VWs from around the globe.

What we have here are two vehicles not particularly high on the Sierra Club's Christmas-card list. The Infiniti FX and the Porsche Cayenne, both hatched in 2003, are the original hardcore performance utes — no third rows of seats here, no hybrid drivetrains (yet), no cute little puffs of water-vapor tailpipe emissions through which cartoon bunnies may frolic.
