?Don?t Call It a Management Shake-up? Continues at Zero Motorcycles ? Gene Banman Out at as CEO

We’ve gotten confirmation from several Bothan spies sources that Zero Motorcycle CEO Gene Banman will no longer hold a position at Zero Motorcycles. We first reported on a management shake-up at Zero last month, with news that high-level changes at the Scotts Valley electric motorcycle company were underway. At the time we could only confirm that Zero Motorcycles founder Neal Saiki was out of his position as the company CTO, and now we can confirm ...

Dani Pedrosa Will Undergo Surgery after Jerez

It’s a tough day for Spanish MotoGP fans as Dani Pedrosa has confirmed that he will be going back in for surgery on his shoulder after the Spanish GP at Jerez. Pedrosa’s injuries were diagnosed today as stemming from an intermittent compression of the subclavian artery, which in-turn was causing his lack of strength and numbness in his left arm. After this weekend’s race, Pedrosa will go in for his surgery where the titanium plate ...

Marc Mrquez Analyzes His First Steps in Moto2

For the first time in late November and with the enthusiasm of a child on Christmas Day, Marc Mrquez rode the bike with which he will compete in 2011. After a restless night, in the morning he faced an engine almost five times bigger than the one he had when he competed in the eighth-litre of the World Championship ?600cc instead of 125cc?, and a bike that is twice as heavy and has more than twice the power. From those first laps he has drawn his initial impressions of the category in which he will run next year.

It was a freakish race - one which I am still trying to get my head around, let alone write up!
Because of the unusual podium, points were scarce this week with many people striking out. Only one person scored podium points: @leighberwick with his 3rd place for de Puniet. How you picked him out Leigh, [...]

The Champion and the Apprentice

The Fiat Yamaha team have been surrounded by hype this past few weeks. Not, as an outsider might expect, caused by a battle to re-sign the reigning champion: Rossi’s contract ends at the end of the 2010 championship, and he looks settled, happy, and at one with the bike he helped shape and tune into [...]

MotoGP Predictions In The Circuit Spain

Myth in MotoGP, Between Right and coincidence
It turned out that the myth was wandering the world of MotoGP. When in fact it was so true myth this could be due to chance alone, you may believe or not believe. I am simply here to share our thoughts can break for a moment after posting about Kompasiana beleaguered police chief, sex and Indomie. And this news lightly, so make the supporters of the drivers who do not take heart in the mean yes. Consider this wrote warming before watching the race at Phillip Island, Australia this week.

1. Jorge Lorenzo, do not enter the podium because of helmet

Tribute to Omizawa - Aragon (dok.motoGP-mania)
Lorenzo was a racer who rarely changing helmet motif. Just a simple helmet with a black color and X-fuera logo on it and the number 99 in the left and right side. Although simple helmet had accompanied him to reach the podium as much as 7 times in the race series this year. But in the 3 series race he changed helmet motif. And what was the result?
                             Visit Spain - Motegi (dok.motoGP-Mania)

In Indianapolis Lorenzo Iron Man-themed helmet wearing. Helm took him reach the podium to 3. Not bad but not as good as hell at least reach the podium achievements 2. In Lorenzo Aragon Tribute to wear a helmet themed Tomizawa, as a sense of sympathy to commemorate the departure of Shoya Tomizawa who died in an accident in the previous series. The result is the only rider won the 4th position. The first time Lorenzo was standing at the podium. And the last one when appearing in Motegi, Lorenzo was wearing a helmet with a typical Japanese ornaments and promotion "Visit Spain", which also became a sponsor Visit Spain MotoGP Motegi implementation. And the result is the same as in Aragon. Lorenzo did not reach the podium after losing a wheel to wheel with Rossi.

2. Pedrosa anti umberella girl

A scene that awaited before the race begins, in addition to seeing the preparation of the drivers on the track, is also the charm of the Umbrella Girl next to the drivers. Surely you agree that all Umbrella girl was pretty and sexy. Almost all racers shaded umbrella is carried by the Umbrella Girl is in contract to race in the series except for 2 people. The first is an umbrella Casey Stoner by his own wife (who is also beautiful and sexy). And another is the umbrella by Dani Pedrosa, his team of men (who certainly was not pretty and not sexy hihihi).

He said this is the way Dani to stay focused on the race and did not want to be disturbed by anything. Beautiful and sexy lady is very disturbing yes Dani? This indeed raises questions that ultimately arise nosy. Dani is not it normal? Well, the attitude Dani quiet, cool, and never did celebrate the weird like Rossi or Lorenzo, Dani is not a reflection of abnormalities. Dani I think instead of "not normal", he's just too sweet.

Pedrosa and the umbrella man (dok.motoGP-update)

3.Valentino Rossi is not going to be World Champion this year
Beyond that Lorenzo was dominating in the series this year, apparently there is a myth that has not been broken until today. There is a tendency that happened that based on data since 2000 (he said last year too), only the rider who won the series at the time make sure he won the world title in just the next year will be world champion again (do not get it?).V
To clarify my sentence let us look at these data, the sequence is the year of racing season, world champion in the season, the circuit where the World Champion title winner and finish position when the World Champion won his title.
In 2000, Kenny Roberts, Jr., Nelson Piquet, Brazil, finished 6thIn 2001, Valentino Rossi, Phillip Island, Australia, champion seriesIn 2002, Valentino Rossi, Nelson Piquet, Brazil, champion seriesIn 2003, Valentino Rossi, Sepang, Malaysia, champion seriesIn 2004, Valentino Rossi, Phillip Island, Australia, champion seriesIn 2005, Valentino Rossi, Sepang, Malaysia, the finish of the 2ndIn 2006, Nicky Hayden, Valencia, Spain, finished 3rdIn 2007, Casey Stoner, Motegi, Japan, finished 6thIn 2008, Valentino Rossi, Motegi, Japan, winner of the seriesIn 2009, Valentino Rossi, Sepang, Malaysia, finish 3rdIn 2010, Jorge Lorenzo, Sepang, Malaysia, finish 3rd2011,?

This year's Jorge Lorenzo won the world title by finishing 3rd at Sepang, so what next year this myth will be a justification with Jorge Lorenzo who are no longer won the world championship?
